A Tale As Old As Time – On “Beauty and The Beast” by Bill Condon

When a musical reaches 1 billion gross for the first time in the history you can`t doubt that the musicals are back! But if the one also stands, among the various versions of a tale as old as time, as the most heart-wrenching and beautifully narrated one, you are certain that the seasons have changed.

In Beauty and The Beast, Bill Condon brought us a staggering masterpiece of musical cinema with most appreciation to the most artistic version (1946 by Jean Cocteau). It is a touch-the-heart eye candy with amazing ensemble and many unforgettable numbers… What a joy!

P.S. Oh! Emma Watson, you deserve an Oscar!
